4: How to Use Your Crystal or Gemstone for

Third Eye Activation

Using the specific stones for this chakra can aid the development of psychic abilities such as clairvoyance, clairaudience, psychic knowing and intuition.

Their powerful energies have the ability to heal our bodies and heighten our spiritual lives by correcting unbalanced vibrations in the body.

First of all, clear your crystal or stone by emerging it in sea salt overnight. This rids it of previous and stagnated energy.

• Charge your crystal or stone with sunlight by placing it in direct sunlight for a few hours (3-5).

• Program your crystal or stone by placing your intentions on it. Place the crystal or stone on your Third Eye chakra (1/2 inch above your eyebrow in the middle of your forehead). Mentally or out loud tell the crystal what you want it to do for you.

Examples: “Open my Third Eye, increase my intuition, connect me with my angels, help me recall my dreams, etc.” Be creative and believe in yourself, in your intentions, and the crystal or stone’s powers.

Place in a medicine, sack, or crystal bag and carry it on your person. You may also just keep it in your left pocket (receptive side) by itself or with other crystals or stones.

Which stone to use

The 6th chakra reacts powerfully to the use of high vibration healing stones in particular you may choose to use Moldavite, Herkimer Diamonds or any of the other high crystal energy stones. This is the chakra most likely to develop any of the psychic gifts. If this is what you want to do, work with the stronger high crystal energystones.

Some of the other high vibration stones that you may choose to use could be Danburite, Tanzanite, Satyaloka, Quartz, Herderite, Petalite, Tibetan Tektite, Scolecite, Natrolite, and Phenacite. If you are not used to the higher vibrations, use the chakra stones with medium crystal energy first then move onto the higher vibration stones.

This chakra resonates to the colors of purple and indigo. As you will see from the list and the many pictures shown here, some healing crystals that are not the specific chakra colors will also assist in developing this area. Many beautiful stones of these chakra colors are easily obtained... in particular Purple Amethyst crystals. Using purple or indigo healing crystals such as Amethyst crystals, may enhance both the abilities associated with this area, and the health of the third eye chakra.

It is also a good idea to wear crystal jewellery or other jewellery made from the chakra stones for this area, to improve anything that this area governs. There are many crystals and gemstone for the third eye and you experiment with any that you are attracted to.
